About us

We started with a feeling Not a business plan. Not a market gap.

A feeling that something was missing, in Egyptian fashion, in the way we dress, in the conversation between who we are and what we wear.

Mikenshō was born from that feeling. The name means unvalidated. Because from the very beginning, this brand was never going to wait for permission.

We are Egypt. Loud, complicated, beautiful, contradictory Egypt. But we carry the spirit of Japan a
culture that rebuilt itself from nothing through collective love, passion, and the deep belief that what
one person does affects everyone around them. That philosophy lives in every piece we make.

Every collection is built on a Japanese philosophy

We take that philosophy, bring it to Egypt, and translate it into product. Into
fabric. Into music. Into the small details that only the person wearing the piece will ever find.

Every collection arrives with its own song not a soundtrack, not a playlist, but an original composition
that carries the same philosophy the clothes are built on. Because some things are easier to feel
through music before you understand them through what you wear.

The Ward Baladi is our symbol. The rose your grandmother keeps in a glass of water on the kitchen
table. The same rose recognized by the world as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity. We chose it
because it needed no introduction to be essential. Just like the people who wear this brand.
